Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Brickstreet Music LLC ("we," "us") collects through brickstreetmusic.com, how we use it, and your choices about it.
1. Information we collect
- Account info — name and email address when you create an account. Your password is stored as a one-way hash; we never store or can see your actual password.
- Purchase records — what you bought, when, and how much you paid. We never see or store your full card number — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
- Mailing list signups — if you submit your email through a "Follow the journey" form, we store it and send you one email asking you to confirm. We only send occasional updates about new apps and launches after you click the link in that email. Every update email has an unsubscribe link, and once you use it we stop emailing you.
- Basic usage data — standard web server logs (like IP address and browser type), the normal byproduct of any website running on a server.
- Support and general messages — if you email support@ or hello@brickstreetmusic.com, we keep your message, our replies, your email address and name, and any attachments, so we can help you and keep a record of the conversation.
- Agreement records — when you create an account or buy, we record that you agreed to our Terms and Privacy Policy, the date, and which version.
- Cookies / browser storage — a session cookie keeps you logged in (necessary for the site to work). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also sets cookies to measure how the site is used. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser; you can change it any time with "Cookie settings" in the page footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline.
2. How we use it
We use your information to operate your account, process and fulfill purchases, send password-reset and account-related emails, respond to support requests, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use Stripe to process payments. When you make a purchase, the payment details you enter go directly to Stripe under their own privacy policy and security practices — we never receive or store your full card number.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used (for example page views, device type and approximate location). Google receives that usage data under its own privacy policy. Nothing from Google loads unless you accept. We also rely on our web host to store the site and its data, and on an email delivery service to send receipts and password resets.
4. Data retention
We keep your account and purchase information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to keep accurate financial and tax records or to comply with the law.
5. Your rights
You can update your name and email any time by contacting us. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, email us at the address below — note that we may need to retain basic purchase records for tax and accounting purposes even after an account is deleted.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), and payment details never touch our servers at all. No method of storing or transmitting data online is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
