About Brickstreet Music

Built for the people behind the performance.

At Brickstreet Music, we believe great software shouldn't come with an unreasonable price tag—or another annual subscription.

Performing arts programs operate on tight budgets, and the people running them already have enough to worry about. Whether you're managing a theatre, directing a band, organizing a production, or keeping everything running behind the scenes, technology should make your job easier, not more complicated.

That's why Brickstreet Music exists.

We're developing practical, affordable software designed specifically for music educators, theatre professionals, and performing arts organizations. Our goal is simple: create powerful tools that solve real problems, keep them accessible to programs of all sizes, and offer software you can purchase once and continue using.

No unnecessary complexity. No inflated pricing. No mandatory subscriptions for our desktop applications.

Just useful tools built by someone who understands the work.

Meet the Founder

Justin Cook

Founder & CEO | Brickstreet Music LLC

Brickstreet Music was founded by Justin Cook, a Mississippi-based music educator, professional musician, and performing arts professional who has spent his career working both onstage and behind the scenes.

Justin serves as Director of Bands and Technical Director at Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, Mississippi, where his responsibilities span music education, theatrical production, technical systems, and performing arts facility operations.

His background includes a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Educational Leadership from Mississippi College, as well as professional trumpet performances throughout the United States and internationally.

Working in performing arts education has given Justin firsthand experience with the challenges faced by schools and arts organizations—particularly when it comes to finding technology that is both capable and affordable.

Too often, the available solutions are expensive, overly complicated, or locked behind recurring subscription fees that place additional strain on already limited budgets.

Brickstreet Music grew out of a desire to do something about that.

Rather than waiting for someone else to build the right tools, Justin began developing software around the actual needs of performing arts professionals.

The philosophy behind every project is the same: if a tool can make someone's job easier, it should be accessible to the people who need it.

Our Philosophy

Buy it once. Use it for years.

We believe customers should have the option to own their software rather than continually rent access to it. Our desktop applications are built around one-time purchases, without mandatory recurring licensing fees.

Practicality over unnecessary features.

We're not interested in making software complicated just to make it look impressive. We focus on intuitive tools that solve everyday problems and fit naturally into existing workflows.

Made for real performing arts programs.

Our products are informed by actual experience in classrooms, rehearsal spaces, theatres, and performance venues. We understand that every dollar matters and that technology needs to work when the curtain goes up.

Always building. Always improving.

Brickstreet Music is a growing independent software company. We're continually developing new tools, improving existing products, and listening to the people who use them.

The Future of Brickstreet Music

What started as an effort to solve everyday challenges in performing arts has grown into a larger vision: building a collection of affordable, dependable tools that help schools and arts organizations do more with the resources they already have.

As Brickstreet Music grows, our commitment remains the same.

Professional tools. Fair prices. No unnecessary subscriptions.

Because the performing arts are expensive enough already.
